Favorite thing about Baylor: The traditions, specially the Golden Wave Band!

Favorite thing about Waco: The people! Waco is "A City to Believe In" because of the people who have rooted here and come together to see the city thrive creatively, socially, and spiritually. Behind every innovative small business, delicious restaurant, or faith-filled church is a community of visionaries who want to see Waco flourish.

My story

East Coast born, I was raised on the West Coast in Southern California. When it came to college, I had never considered Texas until a good friend convinced me to tour Baylor. I felt immediate peace when I stepped on campus. At Baylor, I studied Journalism, New Media, and Film, joined a sorority, and became deeply involved in my church community. After graduation, I had a short stint in magazine editing before the Lord called me into full-time church ministry. I pursued my Master’s of Theology and Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary before becoming a licensed pastor of college students and young adults. While serving the church, my husband and I fell in love on a mission trip to the Middle East. Today, I am excited to pursue my next chapter in ministry: walking with parents during their student’s time here at Baylor and beyond! 

Why is Baylor so special?

Experiencing Baylor as a student and now as a staff member, I can attest that this place is the real deal when it comes to equipping students for leadership and service while keeping the focus on Jesus and community. 

How am I equipped to help you?

I am grateful to be able to offer my experience as a Baylor alumna, daughter, and former college pastor. Coming to Baylor from out of state, I had a special understanding of what it’s like being knit into the Baylor (and Texas) community. Furthermore, I can draw from the experience of my parents, both non-alumni, who were tremendously blessed by Baylor's Parent Engagement team. Finally, having spent the bulk of my professional career serving college students and their parents, I feel uniquely equipped to help shepherd families through this season of life. I am thrilled to be supporting your journey here at my Alma Mater!
